A new local gift card has launched in The Hague, covering independent shops, cafes, and restaurants across the city.
Known as the Den Haag Cadeaukaart, the voucher is operated by Stadsie and can be spent across more than sixty participating businesses.
Values on the card range from 10 to 150 euros, and users do not need to spend the full balance in a single visit or at one location.
How the card works
Buyers pay a 1 euro fee on top of the card’s loaded value when purchasing it through stadsie.nl.
According to Stadsie, 100% of the money spent goes directly to the participating business.
Local entrepreneurs can join the scheme free of charge, with no commissions, subscription fees, or setup costs involved.
The Hague is the seventh city where Stadsie has introduced its local gift card programme.
