Guided cycle tour explores public art across The Hague: Guides from De Salon van Leonie are hosting a bike ride on 2 October visiting works by Niels Weerheim. The route starts in the Binckhorst and includes coffee along the way.
Road safety institute seeks local electric cyclists: Traffic safety institute SWOV wants riders in The Hague to test bikes fitted with cameras and sensors for four weeks. Participants will receive a 50 euro gift voucher for their time.
Photo exhibition about Loosduinen opens at Galerie Varia: Singer-songwriter Marjolein Jua Kool opened the display by local group Fotocollectief Van Blankenburg on 18 September. The photographs remain on view until 25 September.
Hubertustunnel delay draws mounting anger from drivers: Contractor Strukton pays a daily penalty of 13,000 euros as the reopening of the Hubertustunnel remains delayed. Motorists report lengthy detours, extra costs, and persistent congestion across city routes.
Sea Life Scheveningen collects old visitor photos: The aquarium reopened along the boulevard after a major renovation. Staff are asking for archive snapshots, including pictures from the wave pool that once stood on the site.
Nieuw Kijkduin garage cuts free parking time: Drivers visiting the seaside area can now only park for one hour without paying. Rates after the free period and day passes have also increased.
Scheveningen sets opening dates for two winter skating rinks: Skating returns to the seaside resort in early November with outdoor ice outside the Kurhaus. A second covered rink on the boulevard follows in December.
