Drivers heading to Kijkduin beach face six weeks of detours while the road surface is replaced on Kijkduinsestraat.

The works focus on the junction with Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan, where the municipality is replacing outdated asphalt from Monday 5 October until Monday 16 November.

Traffic diverted through the central reservation

Drivers travelling by car from Loosduinen towards the beach will need to follow diversions throughout the period.

To keep the beach accessible, the municipality is preparing two diversion routes that direct traffic through the central reservation while resurfacing takes place.

The municipality has warned that bad weather could cause the works to take longer than scheduled.
