Amare will host the first Reparatiefeest on Saturday 10 October.
A large Repair Café will offer free repairs for appliances and clothing from 11.00 to 15.15.
Visitors can swap clothes and join workshops on sewing machines, electronics, Sashiko, and repairing or customising clothing.
The programme also includes an information market, activities for children and a doll doctor.
There will also be a documentary about Repair Cafés, a lecture by the Consumentenbond and the launch of National Repair Week.
Workshops are free, but places are limited and require advance registration.
