Dogs will be permitted off leash on all beaches in The Hague starting Thursday 1 October.
The seasonal rule change runs through Saturday 15 May, allowing dogs to run freely across the city’s entire coastline.
During the summer months, dogs are restricted to designated zones or permitted only after 21:00, and must remain on a leash.
Visitors are reminded that they are still required to clean up dog waste on the beach across all seasons and weather conditions.
