Sportcampus Zuiderpark hosts the Stadsspelen on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September.

The free festival features more than twenty sports and activities for residents of all ages.

Events run from 11:00 to 17:00 each day across both indoor and outdoor spaces. Last year, the gathering drew 12,500 visitors.

Indoor and outdoor activities

Visitors can take part in activities including 3×3 basketball, climbing, boxing, dance, and freerunning.

Organisers are also installing an indoor Johan Cruyff Court for football.

Outside, the grounds will feature skating, scootering, and a 35-metre BMX track.

Less common activities such as pickleball and roller hockey are also scheduled.

Connecting with local clubs

The festival serves as the conclusion to the Haagse Sportzomer programme, which has run free activities across the city since 21 June.

No previous sporting experience is required to join in.

Local sports clubs and providers will be on hand to help participants continue with activities after the weekend.

Residents can sign up for free trial lessons with participating organisations.
