Social Dance: Balfolk workshop and live jam
An introductory dance lesson followed by social dancing with live music and an open session for any acoustic instrument. The lesson covers the basic steps, so newcomers can join the social dancing that follows. Live musicians play rather than recordings, which changes the feel of the room. The open session welcomes any acoustic instrument, so players can sit in rather than only listen. No partner is needed.
