Jet Boeke: a temporary exhibition at the children’s museum
Jet Boeke is a Dutch illustrator best known for creating Dikkie Dik, the much-loved orange cat from children’s books. Her clear, expressive images show how line, colour and character can carry a story for young readers. In beeld focuses on Boeke’s work as an image-maker for children. At the Kinderboekenmuseum, the exhibition offers a chance to explore the role illustration plays in bringing stories and characters to life.
