French harp classics inside the former swimming pool basin
The harp takes centre stage in this concert exploring music associated with Claude Debussy. A leading French composer of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Debussy is known for colour-rich harmonies and musical textures that suggest atmosphere as much as melody. The harp’s range of delicate tones makes it a natural way to encounter those qualities. The POOL SESSIONS bring live music into the setting of Diepe.
