Flocking birds inspire music theatre production Winged
A murmuration, in which birds move together in shifting formations, provides the starting point for this music theatre work. Against a backdrop of growing polarisation, Winged asks how people can move together without losing their individuality. The idea connects collective movement with questions of belonging, difference and mutual influence. Music theatre offers a meeting point for sound, movement and dramatic ideas.
